Friends I make now in college are more like coworkers. I certainly will die alone, without friends or a partner, if I don't do something about this. Another aspect of "looking mean" is behaviour: Childhood insecurities and bullying led me to be defensive and look serious.

One thing led to another. Such a small thing effects your life in a huge way. I don't have anxiety but I try to avoid social interactions because I fear that I'll fuck up. I was quite social and talkative before bullying, before age of I might even be a very extrovert person trapped inside introvert shell.

But if I let myself out now, I'd look like a 15 years old extrovert trapped inside a body of 25 years old. Or I'd look too weird.
