Go grab yourself a coffee and enjoy! First of all, how are you feeling?? I have to say, I am feeling pretty fabulous. We have been making these tempeh tacos at home that are out of this world. We buy masa from the Mexican market down the street and press our own tortillas. Any kind of potatoes: I want to keep what I eat as pure and efficient as possible, especially while pregnant. You just got married last year. What does married life look like for you?
From the day I met Bill, it has been an adventure. We have so much fun together, and we are always laughing. Making us a priority, and really scheduling in quality time for ourselves.
We are constantly on the go, but we are trying to slow down a bit and just enjoy being home. We like to cook, catch up on our favorite shows, take our french bull dog, Bacon, on walks and read books together right now we are reading: Any pieces of advice for other newlyweds? Make time for you. I think my Dad said it best at our wedding when he gave his toast: What does a typical date night look like for you guys?
Oh we love date night! We like to go to dinner at one of our favorite restaurant in town: Le Papagayo, and then hit up Cineapolis for a movie. They have a cookies and cream milkshake that I cannot say no to. What is your activity like now that you are pregnant? I saw that you were surfing a few weeks ago.
Um, does that hurt!? I do warm yoga once a week, and my yoga teacher is actually pregnant as well! I also train with my trainer once a week, and I do a barre class as well. And we go on walks a lot. What are you most looking forward to being a new Mama? Every child is different, and every family dynamic is different. I cannot wait to meet the little cutie. Have you entered nesting mode yet?
You know, I thought I would get all creative and be writing songs and lullabies and what not, but I have not been gravitating to any of that. I recently read this book: The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up and it changed my life for real! I got rid of so much crap. I have a feeling once the baby comes, I will be bursting at the seams with song ideas and inspiration. Any plans for delivery? I will be delivering with her at the hospital.
I plan to do it with no drugs and with as little medical intervention as possible. My pregnancy so far has been pretty easy, but you never know. I trust that my body will let me know what it needs, and do what it needs to do. Would you please make a lullaby album? I think Parker would enjoy dozing off to that.
